sunset salutation

Got the flip up and running. Hopefully I'll be posting lots of videos soon. Here's our little bay (well recently we've been sharing it with some pesky hammer heads! fo' real) This is the part of the bay past the pier called Black Pot. Black Pot is the spot for night life on the north shore. Particularly around sunset, everybody loads up a six pack lights a bon fire and "talks story". The sail boats are a lovely addition to the bay, they somehow add a little humanization to the vast expanse (the abyss?) of the open sea. Anyway I love them and always think how nice it would be to float around the ocean with a small boat for a home like a turtle or a baby kangaroo.

i sense a new lifestyle for A&L...sailing the globe, looking good and feeling good.

...or perhaps that lifestyle's not so new.

d! you are on point. see my next post. although i worry that the reality of sailing and my idea of what sailing around would be are a little different. still if the sail boat was yellow and named "wide wonder" i'd sign up in no time. it might just happen... we'll pick you up in the east river. pack a pistol, some oranges and your swimsuit.

erm.. are you saying turtles and small kangaroos sail around on boats?

rb.
please allow me to explain. the turtle and the baby kangaroo go anywhere at any time and have everything they need, since their homes are on their backs (in the case of the former) or their mother's pouches(the latter). But it is nice to think about a turtle floating around on his back holding a sail, like a kite.
